Clothes Show Live

Clothes Show Live - Birmingham NEC

Being my first time going to the Clothes Show, I didn't really know what to expect as I'd heard mixed reviews. From being amazing, to them being scammers and everything overpriced...which I'd just like to say, its definitely far from it!
Tickets costing only £25, which I think is an absolute bargain for such a good day out!

Myself and Layla caught a train up to Birmingham pretty early because we wanted a full days worth of shopping! (you know how girls can be)
We went to the Alcatel One Touch fashion show at just gone 11 o'clock and it's safe to say it was an absolute mission to find it. As both of us are hopeless with directions and it already being majorly busy, it took us about half an hour to actually find where we were supposed to be but by the end of it, it was definitely worth it!
I didn't really know what to expect with the show because of fashion shows I've seen in the past, I just assumed the models would walk up and down, do a couple of fish pouts and walk off. But nooooo, this fashion show was insane!

The show kicked off with Stereo Kicks from X Factor. As much as I took the piss of all the screaming fan girls, they were pretty decent!

BB looking beaut as per!

From acting, to dancing, to having to walk in 10 inch heels, they can do it all!
At a fashion show you don't really expect to see that because you think models just walk up and down the catwalk but they're actually so talented!
Being 5ft10, I thought I was tall but seeing these models, I'd never seen anything like it! The female models literally have the longest legs in the world!

Now, onto the best bit of the show...

Topless male models of course!
Safe to say every girl in the room at this point was slightly dribbling.
Just look at them!!

Onto the stalls!
They had a huge variety of stalls but the only ones they were lacking on was actually clothes ones!
There were only a few clothe stalls that I actually recognised, such as Bill And Mar, Oh My Love, Hot!Mess and a few others. The rest were mainly vintage stalls and small boutiques.

The Barry M and Rimmel London stalls were absolutely amazing! You could get your makeup and nails did and they were also doing £10 goodie bags, which inside came 4/5 nail varnishes, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and lipstick! For £10 that is an absolute bargain, so Layla and I ended up buying 2 goodie bags each.

My all time favourite stalls though were the jewellery stands! I have a huge addiction to sterling silver rings, so I was in my absolute element.

We were also lucky enough to meet some of the lovely cast from Made In Chelsea.

Here are Layla's goodies that she bought!
The only things that I can actually tell you where they're from, are the Rimmel and Barry M cosmetics. The rest of Layla's purchases are from random stalls that didn't have names!

and then onto my favourite purchases of the day!
I was having a moment for anything burgundy, so when I saw these boots I just had to have them both!
My favourite ones are definitely the Public Desire ones, with the burgundy tips. I like how they're still black at the same time, so I feel like they'll go with more.
Then my vintage rings, I'm just in love with them!

So yeah, if you've never been to the Clothes Show before then I would definitely recommend it, 100% worth it!

Thanks for reading, I hope I haven't bored you for too long!

Moroccan Prints & Temporary Tatts

Moroccan prints have always been a favourite of mine, so I was over the moon when Laundry Boutique kindly gifted me with this amazing shirt dress!
I decided to style this piece with my PU leather A-Line skirt, my all time favourite chunky River Island boots and my cosy fur clutch bag from the lovelies at Little By Little Boutique.
I've also added a bit of sparkle to the outfit with a beautiful silver lily temporary tattoo, which was also kindly gifted from Beach Café (more info below about this lovely company)!

I thought I'd show you all how the shirt dress looks just on its own (last photo). It's such a nice length, as being 5ft10 I usually struggle to find shirt dresses that are long enough, so I was really happy with this!

Gold Dust

I'm backkkkkkk!
Have been super busy with work due to Christmas, so whenever I've had a day off I've just been really lazy and stayed in bed!
I promise (maybe) that I will get better with my blogging hahah

There's lots of lovely collaborations going on in this post, from Madam Rage, to Veve Eyewear and then Little By Little Boutique.

It's the run up to Christmas which means there's sequins, metallics and shimmery clothes everywhere, so you really can't go wrong with this 'Cracked Metallic Shift Dress' from Madam Rage.
You can dress this outfit up or down but I decided to go for the casual look as I love putting a jumper over a dress.
Another thing that is absolutely everywhere this season is fur. On absolutely everything!
I've been wanting a fur clutch bag for ages and when Little By Little Boutique kindly gifted me with this beaut grey one, I fell in love! It is literally the softest thing I've ever felt, I'm too scared to take it on a night out because knowing me (the states I get in to haha) it will get covered in alcohol!

I know it's not sunny or remotely warm but Veve Eyewear sent me a couple of their products last week and who doesn't want to look like a diva in sunglasses when it's raining *waving hand in the air*. Can't go wrong with a cat eye and a cheeky blue lens!

Would just like to thank the companies that sent me all these lovely items to be able to do this blog post, I love working with you all :)
