Clothes Show Live

Clothes Show Live - Birmingham NEC

Being my first time going to the Clothes Show, I didn't really know what to expect as I'd heard mixed reviews. From being amazing, to them being scammers and everything overpriced...which I'd just like to say, its definitely far from it!
Tickets costing only £25, which I think is an absolute bargain for such a good day out!

Myself and Layla caught a train up to Birmingham pretty early because we wanted a full days worth of shopping! (you know how girls can be)
We went to the Alcatel One Touch fashion show at just gone 11 o'clock and it's safe to say it was an absolute mission to find it. As both of us are hopeless with directions and it already being majorly busy, it took us about half an hour to actually find where we were supposed to be but by the end of it, it was definitely worth it!
I didn't really know what to expect with the show because of fashion shows I've seen in the past, I just assumed the models would walk up and down, do a couple of fish pouts and walk off. But nooooo, this fashion show was insane!

The show kicked off with Stereo Kicks from X Factor. As much as I took the piss of all the screaming fan girls, they were pretty decent!

BB looking beaut as per!

From acting, to dancing, to having to walk in 10 inch heels, they can do it all!
At a fashion show you don't really expect to see that because you think models just walk up and down the catwalk but they're actually so talented!
Being 5ft10, I thought I was tall but seeing these models, I'd never seen anything like it! The female models literally have the longest legs in the world!

Now, onto the best bit of the show...

Topless male models of course!
Safe to say every girl in the room at this point was slightly dribbling.
Just look at them!!

Onto the stalls!
They had a huge variety of stalls but the only ones they were lacking on was actually clothes ones!
There were only a few clothe stalls that I actually recognised, such as Bill And Mar, Oh My Love, Hot!Mess and a few others. The rest were mainly vintage stalls and small boutiques.

The Barry M and Rimmel London stalls were absolutely amazing! You could get your makeup and nails did and they were also doing £10 goodie bags, which inside came 4/5 nail varnishes, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and lipstick! For £10 that is an absolute bargain, so Layla and I ended up buying 2 goodie bags each.

My all time favourite stalls though were the jewellery stands! I have a huge addiction to sterling silver rings, so I was in my absolute element.

We were also lucky enough to meet some of the lovely cast from Made In Chelsea.

Here are Layla's goodies that she bought!
The only things that I can actually tell you where they're from, are the Rimmel and Barry M cosmetics. The rest of Layla's purchases are from random stalls that didn't have names!

and then onto my favourite purchases of the day!
I was having a moment for anything burgundy, so when I saw these boots I just had to have them both!
My favourite ones are definitely the Public Desire ones, with the burgundy tips. I like how they're still black at the same time, so I feel like they'll go with more.
Then my vintage rings, I'm just in love with them!

So yeah, if you've never been to the Clothes Show before then I would definitely recommend it, 100% worth it!

Thanks for reading, I hope I haven't bored you for too long!

Last Hint Of Summer

Thalia at Koko Couture sure knows how to spoil me!
After sending me the lovely Rosa jacket, I was debating for ages how to style it as I don't usually wear a lot of colour but I am really pleased with how this outfit actually turned out, as you can't really go wrong with high waisted jeans, turtle necks and fur!
This was the first outing that my new Pull And Bear fur scarf has made and I thought that it worked perfectly with the colours in the jacket!
I definitely felt out of my comfort zone in this outfit, as there is no black (yes, NO BLACK!!) but I do really enjoy this outfit!

ASOS Fur

After seeing all the blogger babes amazing outfits this week for London Fashion Week made me envy them so much!
The main thing that caught my eye was fur! From fur coats to fur clutch bags, I absolutely fell in love.
After spotting Megan Ellaby on day 2 of LFW with the most amazing matching fur scarf and clutch bag from ASOS, I just had to have a look online at what ASOS had in stock!
I came across the most beautiful fur coats that will be perfect for A/W, so I just thought I'd share them all with you!

ASOS had some fab fur statement pieces but these 5 coats were my favourite!
My all time favourite one was definitely the Fire and Ice Two Tone Fur Coat (picture two) from Australian brand, Unreal Fur.
They've got the most amazing collection of coats and gilets on ASOS, they're definitely worth a look!

So if anyone would like to treat me and has a spare £185 lying around, then you know what to get me ;)

What's New This Week

Seeing as it was payday the Friday just gone, that can only mean one thing?!
SHOPPINGGGGG.
So I thought I would share with you all what I've purchased so far!

Let's start with..

H&M

As I work in H&M, it is pretty hard not to spend my whole pay packet in store!
It's also a bonus getting staff discount aswell! That's 100% one of my fav things about working in retail!

Clutch bag: £4 in the sale (only in sale in store, not on the website)
Black Coat: £29.99
White & Navy striped shirt: £14.99
Monochrome heart/splash dress: £14.99

The pictures of the dress doesn't really do it justice but I absolutely adoreeee it! If you want to see more photos of it, then you can check it out on my Instagram (@erin__hunt) to see how I've styled it!

LAMODA UK

I've been trying to find some flat sandals for a while, as all the ones I own have a chunky heel! So I thought these ones were perfect.
I love how in the packaging was a drumstick lolly! Although I was too excited about the lolly to be able to have it in the photo, as it was eaten within the space of like 10 seconds hahah.

I've also got my eye on the 'Behir Mini Platform Sandal' in black and white but everytime I check online, they're both always sold out :(
I NEED them in my life!

USC

I've been looking at this skirt for a while but for some reason could never bring myself to buy it, but when I was in USC the other day I spotted it in the sale so I just had to have it!

ISLES JEWELLERY

and last of all, my beaut ORB Quartz necklace in silver from the lovely people at Isles Jewellery!
Thank you very much for sending me this beaut necklace, I cannot stop wearing it!

Their whole collection is sooo beautiful! I love everything to do with crystals.
I'd 100% check them out on Instagram and their website.
You can find them on Instagram as @islesjewelry
and their website - www.islesjewelry.com

Just been having a nosey on their website and I've absolutely fallen in love with the 'RHODOLITE GARNET Mini Clear Quartz Crystal Necklace in silver' and the 'NOVA Quartz Ring in silver'...basically I just need to own their whole collection haha!

As you can see I have a serious shopping addiction but which teenage girl doesn't?!

South West Live Festival

I know this is nothing really fashion related but it's finally festival season and well everyone loves festivals!

It was my first time being in Weston Super Mare and I have to say it's absolutely beaut there! Apart from a tiny bit of rain, the sun was shining the whole day. You'll be able to see throughout the photos my arms turning into lobsters!! (should've listened to mum and worn sun cream!)

Just look how lovely it looks! After our trip down there on Sunday, we will definitely be going back again for a day at the beach when the weather is nice!

After queuing for nearly 2 hours to get into the festival, we finally made it onto the beach! What's the first thing we do? Take a photo of our feet in the sand! (typical!!)

Line up: Jessie J, Jason Derulo, Rizzle Kicks, Katy B, The Saturdays, Neon Jungle, The Vamps, Union J and Rixton.

Jason Derulo, Rizzle Kicks and Katy B were my personal favs!

Girls, please feel free to dribble at the topless pic of Jason Deruloooooo.
